Please choose carefully before making your purchase, as Violet & Otis does not offer exchanges or refunds for change of mind or incorrect sizing.
Each garment is handmade in limited quantities, so we ask that you review the product description and size guide prior to ordering to ensure the best fit.


✿ Faulty Items

If your garment arrives with a genuine manufacturing fault, please email hello@violetandotis.com.au within 14 days of receiving it.
Include your order number and clear photos of the issue so our team can assess it promptly.

If your claim is approved, we’ll reimburse your return postage and arrange a repair, replacement, or refund in line with Australian Consumer Law.


✿ Handmade Variations

Each Violet & Otis garment is handmade with care and attention to detail.
As part of this artisanal process, slight variations in smocking, embroidery, stitching, and fabric placement may occur.
These natural differences are a reflection of the hand-crafted nature of our pieces and are not considered faults or defects.
We believe they add character and individuality, making every garment truly one-of-a-kind.


✿ Return Condition Requirements

If you are returning an approved faulty item, please ensure it is:

• Unworn and unwashed
• In its original condition and packaging
• Returned within 14 days of receiving approval


✿ Processing Time

Approved refunds or repairs are processed within 10 business days of the returned parcel being received.
You’ll receive an email confirmation once your return has been finalised.


✿ Refunds for Afterpay Purchases

If you purchased using Afterpay, and your return is approved for a refund, the amount will be processed back through your Afterpay account.
Afterpay will adjust your payment schedule accordingly — any paid instalments will be refunded to your original payment method, and future instalments will be cancelled.
Please note that refunds cannot be issued directly by Violet & Otis outside of your Afterpay account.
